"Zombieboy" is a song by Lady Gaga from her seventh studio album, MAYHEM. The track was written by Gaga, Andrew Watt, Henry Walter, James Fauntleroy and produced by Gaga, Watt and Cirkut.
Background
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Gaga described the song as a celebration of the nights when fun leads to feeling like a “zombie” the next morning, an emotional thought she associated with Genest’s persona. She remarked:
| “ | I think that Rick [Genest] just was an inspiring person. And when I was working on this song, which is ultimately a big celebration song, that word just popped into my head. And that song is all about the moment in the night when you and your friends all realize that you’re going to wake up not feeling well the next day because you’re having too much fun, so it’s about being a zombie in the morning. | ” |

- The song was first teased in the music video of "Disease," where Gaga (aka. Mistress of Mayhem) can be seen driving with a car towards a clone of herself.
- The song references paws used in "Monster" and Gaga’s phrase to her Little Monsters "Put your paws up." The song also references another unreleased song "Animal".
