Twelve Notes is a dialogue from the soundtrack to the 2018 musical A Star Is Born. The dialogue in this scene is taken from two different scenes late in the film. In the first, Bobby (Sam Elliott) consoles Ally (Lady Gaga) about what she meant to his brother Jackson (Bradley Cooper). In the second, Ally speaks briefly to the audience at a memorial concert for Jackson.

Jack talked about how music is essentially 12 notes between any octave.
Twelve notes, and the octave repeats.
It's the same story, told over and over... forever.
All any artist can offer the world is how they see those 12 notes. That's it. Hmm.
He loved how you see them.
Ally (Lady Gaga):
Thank you for being here tonight to honor my husband.
He wrote a song for me.
I'd like to sing it for him tonight;
and with your help, maybe I can.
