O2 Arena London

The O2 Arena, commonly known as The O2 is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in the centre of The O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in south east London.

The O2 Arena has the second highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom, behind the Manchester Arena, but took the crown of the world's busiest music arena from New York City's Madison Square Garden in 2008.

  • This was the only time Gaga would use a modified version of the Jumping Film.
  • In this show, Gaga and her team does not use the musical arrangements of the Monster Ball (except for LoveGame), but uses different arrangements such as:
    • Just Dance uses the arrangement from the live television performances from 2008 (which omits Colby O' Donis's parts).
    • LoveGame uses the earlier version of the Monster Ball arrangement.
    • Poker Face uses the radio edited arrangement.
    • Paparazzi finishes immediately after the second chorus.

  • Gaga said that she shot the photoshoot for the album during her time in the city.
  • "Vanity" and "Brown Eyes" were performed only during the February and May shows.
  • On February 26th, Gaga debuted a new Disco Stick titled, the Disco Torch.
  • On the same date, Gaga commenting upon breaking a heel, "I'd rather die than perform without my shoes".
  • Also on the same date, she wore her famous "Lobster hat outift", with the Lobster Headpiece by Philip Treacy, and rubber jacket and bermuda by Rachael Barrett.
  • "Stand By Me" was performed during the May shows.
  • "Yoü and I" was performed during the December shows.
  • On December 16th, Posh! The Prince and Sloan was ill, therefore, Ian McKenzie replaced Posh! for the "Paparazzi" dialog.
  • On the same date, there were technical difficulties with Gaga's headset microphone during "Paparazzi" and "Bad Romance", so she used a handheld microphone.
  • On December 17th, Gaga stated that Born This Way's first single will be performed on television between February and March 2011.

  • Starting from this venue and the second night onwards, Lady Gaga would do randomly "The Dead Dance" jumpscare with the Mistress of Mayhem. The jumpscare will randomly happen during or after certain songs on the setlist.
  • On the September 29th show, Lady Gaga was joined by fellow Wednesday actresses Emma Myers and Evie Templeton during "The Dead Dance" and "LoveDrug". On the same night, Gaga performed "Speechless" on the piano before "The Edge of Glory" as a tribute to the previous shows from The Monster Ball Tour and the musical styles of the U.K.
