The Cherrytree Sessions is the first official live EP from Lady Gaga. The Cherrytree Sessions are special performances by the artists of the Cherrytree label inside the Cherrytree House. Lady Gaga performed a couple of songs (Brown Eyes, Just Dance, Poker Face) when she visited the offices and had an interview with Martin Kierszenbaum. However, the EP features only tripped-down versions of two tracks from her 2008 debut album The Fame that she played on a piano while visiting the offices of Cherrytree Records, as well as a new beatboxed version of "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)".
Release
The EP was available for streaming on her official MySpace page from January 31. It was released digitally on February 3, 2009 on iTunes. The EP was scheduled to be released physically as a Borders exclusive on March 3, 2009 but was moved up for a release date of February 24. The EP was released with a limited print and is now sold out.Outside of the United States, the EP only got a digital release, not physical. And not all of the EP was available for legal download everywhere, for example in France, only the Eh Eh beatboxed version was available. The EP got released on 29 November (2009) in Australia.
