TAIT Towers Manufacturing LLC, commonly known as TAIT, is a global leader in live event technology and staging solutions. Founded in 1978 by Michael Tait, the company is headquartered in Lititz, Pennsylvania, and specializes in the design, engineering, and fabrication of staging, automation, and scenic elements for concerts, residencies, theatrical productions, and immersive experiences.
Michael Tait began his career in live production as a driver and lighting designer for the progressive rock band Yes in the late 1960s. His early innovations, including compact CO₂-powered telescopic lighting towers, later dubbed “Tait Towers”, revolutionized touring production and laid the foundation for the company’s future.
