"Retro-Physical" is a song written in 2007, by Lady Gaga. It is produced by Noize Trip. The song is not registered on either Gaga's BMI or ASCAP.
Background
In 2008, live footage of Lady Gaga and Noize Trip was posted online, causing people to create a snippet, which became made available on YouTube. In 2009, a fan met Gaga, and asked to release it, however, she said that it was "too old" and "out already." Presumably, she had only seen the live footage that was released. On January 27, 2010, there was an advertisement out on Ebay for the song. The seller, created a copy of the demo, Words, one of the tracks being "Retro Physical". To prove the existence of the disc, the user uploaded a snippet of the song. Some hours later, after the mass hysteria, the item was taken down. The first bid on the item was over £450.00. The track listing on the EP did not match that of the original track listing, therefore, causing confusion as to what disc the seller had. Another snippet, with another part of the song was leaked the day before. On January 28, 2010, the full song was leaked with 2 tags during the second verse, and before the last chorus. The same day, GagaFrontRow posted two untagged versions, both fan made.
