Röyksopp Gakkai was established in Hong Kong by designer Chan Brun during 2013. “Röyksopp” stands for a kind of mushroom in Norsk, while “Gakkai” means School club in Japanese. The brand’s design concept is to show the stage of a teenage girl transforming into an adult. The line is based on European kids clothes from the 18th-19th century, with a soft touch of minimalism and weird-cuteness. Chan Brun uses her brand to express art, and not only fashion.
