Relation with Lady Gaga
He first began dating Lady Gaga in 2005 and is the source of inspiration for many songs written during that time. Their split occurred when Gaga hit fame.
In 2010, several magazines and newspapers reported that the two had gotten back together. Although they were together, Gaga never made the relationship public and instead repeated in many interviews that she didn't have a boyfriend because she was too busy working and touring. By May of 2011, the two had been broken up as she told Graham Norton that she didn't have a boyfriend nor had been on dates recently. A few days later, in an interview with David Letterman she didn't answer his question about a possible boyfriend, changing the subject.
