Seal of Naso
Naso is an Italian town in the Province of Messina, in Sicily. It's on a hill next to Nebrodi mountains and its large land reaches the Tyrrhenian sea. It's the town from whom Lady Gaga's paternal grandfather comes.
History[]
Its mythical origins are related to one of Aeolus's sons, Agathirnos, who founded the city in 1218 BC. The actual foundation took place probably in the High Middle Ages, under the dominion of feoffees like the Ventimiglias, who made the center a county and then a city.
