Muppets Most Wanted is a 2014 American musical comedy caper film, directed by James Bobin, written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Mandeville Films. The film is a sequel to 2011's The Muppets and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, who produced the previous film, will return, as well as musician Bret McKenzie. In the film, the Muppets find themselves unwillingly involved in an international crime caper while on tour in Europe. Muppets Most Wanted was released on March 21, 2014.
