05-03-25 MAYHEM on the Beach by Kevin Mazur 026

The Monsters Never Die is spoken-word interlude by Lady Gaga. It debuted at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 11, 2025, and later used in The Art of Personal Chaos concerts series and The Mayhem Ball.

In the Interlude, Gaga and the Mistress of Mayhem engage in a poignant dialogue, following their intense, show-long duel. This exchange marks a turning point, reminiscent of shadow work, where one integrates their destructive and unconscious parts to achieve wholeness. As they converse, Gaga embraces the aspects of herself she has long battled, recognizing that the Mistress of Mayhem is not her enemy but an intrinsic part of her being. By accepting this, they merge into a single entity, acknowledging their shared identity as Monsters and declaring that "Monsters Never Die." This union harnesses the chaos within Gaga’s heart, bringing peace and acceptance to every facet of her being.
