A letter to my sweet fans..
Today is a really happy day for me. The past year was a challenge, and I'm so happy to have my spirit back. I felt in chains at times. Whether is be the record label disagreeing with me on single choices, or directors who could only create an idea of "gaga" or what i've "done before" and not able to move forward, and there was also of course the incessant dragging of the most important single of my career in dead-beaten-horse-mud. Then there were all the personal moments. Betrayed by lifelong friends, mentors I've had for years suddenly taking advantage of me, and a massive struggles with my body image.
I've grown and left most of these things behind, the monsters of fame are very real. But I wanted to thank you for baring with me a little bit. Today's film is what happens when there is love and respect amongst creatives, teams, management. This project was run solely by the HAUS OF GAGA, ATOM FACTORY, AND STEVEN KLEIN'S fantastic team. I am feeling blessed to have removed those from my life driven by money and luxury, its all about the art of it. I feel free today.

I'm aware of the bullying and predatory nature of some of the new accounts being made. Although this is quite common on all social networks, that will not be the case here. Im in the process of hiring a team to focus solely on monitoring and deleting accounts associated with sexual predators and language as well as bullies and fake accounts.

To the fans. i want you to know that I care deeply about your feelings and views, and I will always support your philosophies about life. We've been having over-arching conversations about society, equality, and politics for the past five years, and we should continue. I do not however support violent, abusive, and childish campaigns for ANY CAUSE. Particularly one that I respect. "Animal Rights." I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypercritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, "kermit" and not to mention meat, that I have already worn. This should already put me in a category as one who appreciates and adores the beauty of animals in fashion, but am not a strict vegan. I have truly always stayed away from skinned fur, especially i have never been able to afford a nice one, but this does not mean my morals are rigid and that I won't bend at the sight of an absolute art piece of a coat. I have no chains about this. You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance. But I am truly sorry to fans who are upset by this, its a fair and applaudable feeling about the health and safety of animals. I respect your views, please respect mine.

Im excited to tell you all that ARTPOP is going to be a multimedia experience that comes in different forms. The most major way to fully immerse yourself in ARTPOP is through the APP. ARTPOP will be released as an IPAD, iPhone, mobile and computer compatible application (WORLD) that is completely interactive with chats, films for every song, extra music, content, gaga inspired games, fashion updates, magazines, and more still in the works! HEYLO! Good morning angels! been reading your comments/questions about ARTPOP APP and wanted to answer your questions!
1. ARTPOP APP will be available to work on computers (for example your laptops,) in addition to iPads, tablets, smartphone, Android, (compatible with as many formats that this technology can function on at this time) if you have a laptop this will fully suffice you to utilize it, so do not fret! I already anticipated you would say that :) Nobody will be missing out on anything special! Nothing is different except I've giving you more stuff to play with and have fun.
2. It will not be more expensive than album. I find digital music to be overpriced (as it is not the same value as a physical copy) and this is a way to give you more.
2. Bjork (who had always been on the cutting edge) was the first artist to release her music in this way, to my knowledge. There are also other international underground musicians and business that use the APP as well to sell various products. The use of an APP as a way to sell albums, in my opinion is the future of music. I am in no way taking credit for the invention of the APP, or claiming to be the first artist to distribute music this way. An APP is "CANVAS" a medium. Like an MP3 is a medium for digital music, except I can attach a variety of sub-mediums within the APP to create a visual/interactive world for you. This world is built organically by the HAUS OF GAGA, and will be a completely unique and different experience from other music-sale based APPs because its inspired by us and the new sound of my music. However I am hoping that *god willing* the success of ARTPOPs music will propel the use of artist driven APPs further into the music industry stratosphere. Im excited to be apart of it. Ultimately the APP is unimportant if the music isn't great though right?

ok, i TOTALLY am aware of how funny i sound talking sometimes. when I'm on the road touring i start to talk like i sing. Consonance and vowels are really open so i can articulate and you can understand the lyrics. Im so embarrassed!! i know its weird but it really DOES keep my voice healthy on the road and tbh, i can't control is because i Sing 3 hrs everyday on the road so its just the condition my voice takes...like a muscle..if your work our your bicep it changes. Anyway I watched the perfume launch and had so much fun at Guggenheim and Macys, My first solo performance art piece in a museum! hear hear to ARTPOP, and my amazing fans. i love you! see you 50,000 dubliners tonight!

I have been startled and overwhelmed with pride and emotion the past few days. Gratitude mostly. i had the most amazing time last night. 30,000 kids in rio. I swore it would look empty, before we got there, but when we got there it was more of an amphitheater than stadium..30,000 people STANDING in a field. i only hope those in the back could see. it poured rain, and was so magical. the fans didn't care about anything but enjoying this moment, and you could tell that many had never been to a concert. it filled me with so much joy i will never forget it, and it reminded me what our connection was built on: love and acceptance. we even played cake at the end just for fun, and i couldn't believe they were singing along. for little monsters who are looking to connect with hardcore bad kids, rio is the place. its like little monster mecca. i don't ever wanna leave

In Lima Peru at Ventanilla school. They showed me how they acquire skills in class to gather internet information and create 'menu' or 'business' pamphlets. This seemed a very modern affective approach, focusing on entrepreneurial skills so young.
I had a lot of fun watching the boys play football while the girls, teachers and I sat on the side and cheered them on
A few children really opened up and shared their experiences. It made everyone stronger, and it was inspiring to watch them light each other up.

Born This Way Ball Tour Cancellation
Wednesday, 13 February 2013 - For immediate release.
Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled.
After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal.
Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013.

Iconic New York City venue Roseland Ballroom is closing its doors for good in 2014, and Lady Gaga will help shut down her hometown venue with a real New York theatrical affair! Gaga will play the final shows EVER at the Roseland in a very intimate residency March 28, 30, 31 and April 2 and LittleMonsters.com members ONLY will have first access to tickets for this historic event!

Additional Roseland shows added!
Due to overwhelming demand during LittleMonsters.com and Citibank pre-sales for Gaga's NYC Roseland Ballroom residency, Live Nation has added two additional shows! The newly added shows will take place April 4th and April 6th, 2014, and LittleMonsters.com members will again have first access to tickets.
Beginning immediately, new sets of pre-sale codes will be distributed at random to those who registered earlier this week. If you received a code this week and weren't able to redeem it for the first four shows, your code will still be valid for these additional shows. Those with pre-sale codes can begin purchasing their tickets immediately.
Citibank cardholders will have access to tickets in one hour at 2pm ET.
Tickets for all 6 Roseland Ballroom shows go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 25th at 10am ET.
