The Chromatica era refers to the album cycle for Chromatica. The album will be released on April 10, 2020. The era began in February of 2020 when Gaga announced the release of "Stupid Love" after the song was originally leaked in January of 2020.

On February 25, 2020, Lady Gaga teased her new single "Stupid Love" via Twitter and a billboard in Los Angeles, California. A music video for the song was released the same day the song was released, and in the following week, Gaga announced that her new album, "Chromatica", would be coming in April.
