"La Vie en Rose" (French pronunciation: [la vi ɑ̃ ʁoz], literally "Life in Pink") was the signature pop song of French cabaret singer Édith Piaf, written in 1945, popularized in 1946, and released as a single in 1947. The first of Piaf's albums to include "La Vie en Rose" was the 10" Chansons Parisiennes, released in 1950. The song appeared on most of Piaf's subsequent albums, and on numerous greatest hits compilations and received a Grammy Hall Of Fame Award in 1998.
Lady Gaga performed first time a short cover at Cheek To Cheek Tour: Hollywood Bowl on May 31, 2015.
On December 16, 2016 the Tony Bennett's album Tony Bennett Celebrates 90 was released, wich included this song by Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga recorded "La Vie en Rose" for the soundtrack to the 2018 musical A Star Is Born.
In the film Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) first sees Ally in a drag club singing song and is entranced by her stage presence and musical chops.
