Joanne Trattoria is the name of Joe Germanotta's restaurant located on 68th Street, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue, in New York City. The restaurant opened on February 1, 2012. The restaurant chef is Art Smith (featured in A Very Gaga Thanksgiving in 2011).

In 2011, Joe Germanotta bought Vince & Eddie's Fireplace (1989-2011), which was reputed for serving quality New American comfort cuisine to a well-heeled Lincoln Center audience. In November of 2010, Lady Gaga became an investor/part-owner of the restaurant in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Her parents, Joe and Cynthia, have also become shareholders of the establishment. Gaga is the only silent partner. Mrs. Germanotta told W, “When she’s in town she likes to come here with her friends because it’s very homey and private. She’ll come here on her time off.”
In May of 2010, Gaga hosted a contest where people could win tickets to see the Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden. The first message was posted on her Facebook on May 21st. In March of 2011, they closed the restaurant to do renovation. The restaurant reopened as "Joanne" in February of 2012.

Charles Arthur "Art" Smith, born March 1, 1960, is an American chef. He has worked for former Florida governors, Bob Graham and Jeb Bush, and until 2007, was the personal chef to Oprah Winfrey.
