The soundtrack for the animated film, ''Gnomeo & Juliet'' was released on February 8, 2011, three days before the film's initial release. It features music by Elton John, Nelly Furtado, Kiki Dee, and selections from the score composed by Chris P. Bacon and James Newton Howard (who played keyboards for Elton John and arranged strings on many previous projects). The duet of John and [[Lady Gaga]] for "[[Hello Hello (song)|Hello Hello]]" was featured only in the film on February 11, 2011. The soundtrack version omits Gaga's vocals.
