Final show at Roseland Ballroom.
A concert residency—also known as a musical residency or simply residency—is a series of live performances similar to a concert tour, but held exclusively at a single venue. Concert residencies have long been associated with the Las Vegas Strip, popularized by performers such as Liberace in the 1940s and Frank Sinatra alongside the Rat Pack in the 1950s. Lady Gaga has completed two formal concert residencies during her career: in 2014 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, and from 2018 to 2024 at Dolby Live in Las Vegas.
Residencies should not be confused with situations where an artist performs several consecutive shows at the same venue as part of a tour—a format sometimes referred to as a "mini-residency." Gaga has performed multiple consecutive concerts at single venues on tour, ranging from two to five nights. Her longest run at one venue during a tour was five consecutive shows at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, during The Born This Way Ball in 2012.
