Cherrytree Records was an American imprint of Interscope Records. Founded in March of 2005 by Martin Kierszenbaum, Kirsch(en)baum being German for cherry tree. It focused initially on developing artists from outside the United States. The imprint goal was later expanded to new artists with growth potential. The label folded in 2016 after Kierszenbaum departure.

Lady Gaga has worked with Kierszenbaum on songs for The Fame, however, upon becoming a breakthrough artist, she and the label parted ways at the end of The Fame Monster promotional cycle in late 2010.
The Cherrytree Sessions[]
In November of 2008, Gaga and Space Cowboy performed acoustic versions of songs from "The Fame" at The Cherrytree House. Part of the performance was shown in the The Cherrytree House episode of Transmission Gagavision released on January 6, 2009 and the songs were first released on The Cherrytree Sessions EP on February 3, 2009.
