Princess Charlotte was an Australian fashion brand founded by Charlie Brown in 1995. Brown started her fashion career in 1982, working for Esprit in San Francisco. Three years later she moved to Australia and spent seven years working as a designer at Howard Showers. In 2000 she launched her red carpet range, Princess Charlotte; same year she opened her first flagship store on Sydney’s Oxford street. In 2005, Brown underwent brain surgery to remove a benign cyst.
