Balenciaga (Spanish pronunciation: [balenˈθjaɣa]) is a French fashion house founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga (born January 21, 1895 – March 23, 1972), a Spanish designer from the Basque Country, Spain. The House of Balenciaga is now owned by the French multinational company Kering. Balenciaga's current Creative Director is Alexander Wang.
