Andrew Wotman (born October 20, 1990), known professionally as Andrew Watt or under the mononym of Watt, is an American record producer, singer, songwriter and guitarist. As a songwriter he signs Wotman, while as a producer he signs Watt. For MAYHEM, Watt brought along his in-house engineer Paul LaMalfa.
Watt won the 2021 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year.

Gaga and her fiancé and creative partner, Michael Polansky, invited him to their house before they began working on the album. It was after they had collaborated with the Stones on “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” around June of 2023. While he was sitting with them, playing a few tracks he had, inspiration started flowing from her. Soon after, they decided to head into the studio (probably refers to July 2023).
